About Wellspringwords

A wellspring signifies a source of abundance or, as we like to think of it, the nature of a place, moment, feeling, or energy imbued with abundance — imbued with abstractions of hope, love, triumph, and truth, with darkness, and complexity, and elements yet unbeknownst to us. That is, until we dare to dive deep, challenging ourselves and our perceptions of life in order to see life anew and as true to us as the words we use to express its unfolding, right before our very eyes. As writers, then, our words are imbued with this abundance, this magic. And the wellspring, in all its depth and glory, signifies unending expression — authentic creation of truth.

This is Wellspringwords.

Our inquiries and exploration here in this space, on this platform, are not always glamorous. We understand that to move through inherited, projected, and created internal and external darkness and into the abundant light of Love requires a deep devotion to truth. This journey requires a devotion to vitality and storytelling and creation and legacy. In this work of writing and visioning, learning and teaching, we choose to deepen into life’s own wellspring because we trust that the resilience we cultivate throughout our lifetimes leads to priceless wisdom for ourselves, individually, and for the whole, through all timelines. Through contemplating wisdom, we allow light to pour into and all over our internal landscapes, our external lives, and our words that live on beyond the magical moment of creation.   

Wellspringwords is a Literary Anthology, Podcast, and Creative Enrichment Studio that supports humans with Sacred inner-world cultivation through the magic and power of words and embodiment. We especially champion women of color. Whether prose or poetry, the process of writing acts as a journey through self-identification, exploration, remembering, and creating in truth and abundance. This is a space dedicated to holistic healing and liberation through narrative reclamation — mind, body, heart, and Soul.

We know that the world needs authentic creative expression for humanity to come to a harmonious state.

We also know that AI and robots will not facilitate the organic connection, healing expression, and transformative creation human beings are spiritually designed to create. We are proudly an AI-free zone.

Wellspringwords is here to help us remember, viscerally and deeply, that our creative power and wisdom are inherent to us — this creative power and wisdom need to be expressed, not only for our individual benefit, but for the health of the human species and its evolution.

This is a space of wisdom creation; our wisdom lies within us.
