Flower of Lakshmi

Look at me with sudden pride

Make me feel like I’m the prize

Search for me as if I were the last piece of Sapphire

Found on Noah’s Arc

The simplicity of my distinguishable vocabulary

The notion of my order

The concept of my inclinations

The way you look at me

As if I were the human form of my thousands of aspirations

Speak of me with admiration

For you have become part of my inspiration

Push me past my fears

Be fond of my bad days

Wipe my vision

If all I see is a blur

Admire me while I journal to my God

Or while I develop new skills

Care for me — just as I would

As if I were the mere Flower of Lakshmi

Root for me

Even in the depths of the waters

Don’t belittle my value

Cheer, make me a Warrior

Come witness my journey, my dedication

Be delighted in my self-respect

As I prioritize my growth

Beyond the rest
